Knox Box Residential Entry Program

The West Allis Fire Department participates in the Knox Box Residential Entry Program. The program provides a means of access to your home in the event that you become injured and cannot unlock the door to your house. Residents can order a residential lock box from the Knox Corporation. These boxes are keyed with a unique key that only the West Allis Fire Department has access to. The box is mounted to an exterior door of your home.

Inside the box is a key to your home. In the event that you become injured, fire department personnel can unlock the Knox Box, access the key to your house, and enter your home to provide emergency care without having to break a door or window. If interested in the program, complete the attached order form or call the West Allis Fire Department at 414-302-8900 for more details.
