Responsibilities
The Special Investigations Unit is responsible for the investigation of vice-related crime including but not limited to offenses surrounding illegal drugs / narcotics, gang-related offenses, weapons, prostitution, gambling, and pharmaceutical diversion. The SIU focuses on these offenses at a local level. The SIU also works in conjunction with other local, state and federal agencies in the Milwaukee area to address these offenses regionally, which directly affect our community.
Resident Cooperation

Residents can provide the Police Department with detailed complaints regarding suspected drug dealers in their community, with the understanding that their identities can remain anonymous or confidential.
